UAE Tax Invoice Generator (5% VAT, 2026)

A UAE tax invoice must carry the words "Tax Invoice", the supplier's name, address and TRN, the customer's name, address and TRN if registered, a sequential number, the date of issue and of supply, each item with unit price, quantity, VAT rate and amount, any discount, and the gross amount and VAT in AED (Article 59, VAT Executive Regulation). The standard VAT rate is 5%.

For businesses and freelancers billing their own real sales. An invoice or receipt for a supply or payment that did not happen is a false document. Figures are entered by you and are not checked by AiStaffo.

E-invoicingMandatory electronic invoicing through an accredited provider starts 1 January 2027 for businesses with revenue of AED 50 million or more and 1 July 2027 for the rest (B2B and B2G)

Worked example

An office-cleaning company bills 4 visits at AED 450 (AED 1,800) and supplies at AED 200, all standard rated. Taxable amount AED 2,000; VAT at 5% = AED 100; total AED 2,100.00.

Invoices in dollars or euros

You may price in another currency, but the VAT payable and the gross amount must also appear in AED, with the exchange rate. Choose the currency and enter the rate (1 USD = 3.6725 AED is the fixed peg); the invoice adds the AED lines.

E-invoicing from 2027

The UAE is moving B2B and B2G invoices to a national e-invoicing system run through Accredited Service Providers. Businesses with revenue of AED 50 million or more must appoint a provider by 31 July 2026 and go live on 1 January 2027; the rest appoint by 31 March 2027 and go live on 1 July 2027. Once you are on e-invoicing, a PDF from a tool like this is no longer the tax invoice for B2B sales.

For businesses: let the invoicing run itself

UAE businesses also face VAT returns, corporate tax records and the move to e-invoicing. Raising invoices, matching payments and chasing overdue clients is routine work an AI worker can run end to end, with your team only checking exceptions. Book a free automation audit and we will show you what it would take off your desk.

Please note: this generator follows Article 59 of the VAT Executive Regulation as summarised by the sources below and checked on 21 October 2026. Free zone and designated zone rules can differ. It is not an accredited e-invoicing solution.
