Salary Slip Generator (UAE)

A UAE salary slip shows basic salary, each allowance (housing, transport, other), overtime and other variable pay, each deduction and the net salary in AED, with the details your Wages Protection System file uses: the employer's MOHRE establishment ID, the employee's 14-digit person ID, bank routing code, IBAN, pay period and days on unpaid leave.

For employers and payroll staff issuing payslips to their own employees from real payroll records. Do not use it to create a payslip for yourself or to show anyone figures that were not actually paid: that is a false document.

Worked example

Press "Fill example figures" to load this example. Earnings: Basic salary AED 6,000.00, Housing allowance AED 2,500.00, Transport allowance AED 800.00, Other allowance AED 200.00, so gross pay is AED 9,500.00. Deductions: Salary advance recovery AED 500.00, AED 500.00 in all. Net pay is AED 9,500.00 − AED 500.00 = AED 9,000.00, written on the payslip as "Nine Thousand UAE Dirhams Only". The deduction amounts are examples; work out real ones with your payroll software or the salary calculator for your country.

For employers

Payslips are the last step of a monthly routine: collecting attendance, working out pay and deductions, filing returns, sending slips and answering questions. AI workers now run that routine end to end with a person approving the exceptions. Book a free automation audit and we will show what it would take off your payroll desk.

Please note: the generator formats the figures you enter; it does not check them against tax or labour law. Rules are as checked on 21 October 2026 from the sources below. This is not legal or tax advice.

Questions people ask

Is a salary slip mandatory in the UAE?
Federal law does not prescribe a payslip form for mainland companies, but salaries must go through the Wages Protection System and employers must keep wage records. DIFC employers must give written payslips. Issuing a clear slip each month avoids disputes.
What should a UAE salary slip show?
Employer name and MOHRE ID, employee name, person ID, designation, pay period, basic salary, each allowance, overtime, deductions, net salary in AED, and the bank and IBAN the salary went to.
Why show basic salary separately?
End-of-service gratuity and some leave pay are worked out on basic salary only. Showing it separately from housing and transport allowances keeps the record clear.
How much can an employer deduct from salary in the UAE?
Only deductions the law allows, such as advance and loan recovery, housing loans and court orders, and generally not more than 50% of the wage (Article 25 of Federal Decree-Law No. 33 of 2021).
Is there tax or social security on UAE salaries?
There is no income tax. Emirati employees have GPSSA pension contributions deducted; expatriates have no social security deduction.
Can I use this to make a payslip for myself?
No. The generator is for employers and payroll staff issuing payslips to their own employees from real payroll figures. A payslip that misstates pay, or is made to show a bank, landlord or visa office something untrue, is a false document and can be a criminal offence.
